Also in 2008, Ms. Viscardi’s plein-air landscape paintings were featured in a two-person show at the Terrance Joyce Gallery in Greenport, NY. Recent exhibitions include Continuing Threads and New Voices at the Kresge Gallery of Ramapo College, Mahwah, New Jersey, and an upcoming exhibition at the Geary Gallery in Darien, CT.

A curator and exhibition coordinator at the Carriage Barn Art Center’s Betty Barker Gallery in New Canaan, Connecticut, Ms Viscardi also maintains a studio in Connecticut as a portrait artist working on commission. She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Art at Ramapo College in New Jersey and teaches part-time at the Rockland Country Day School in Congers, NY.

An extensive career in various commercial art professions which include interior design, editorial illustration, and scenic art, has enriched Ms. Viscardi’s art, as well as her academic fine art training.
