CAROLYN DELISSER, advises individuals and corporations in the purchasing, exhibition, maintenance, conservation, and appraisal of Fine Art.

Carolyn deLisser has spent the last twenty years working with collectors, galleries, artists and appraisers across the United States and in Europe. As Director of Artists’ Rights Today from 1978 to 1981, she advised legislators at the State and Federal levels on the drafting of Art Legislation designed to protect both the artist and the consumer of art. She has received numerous awards in recognition of her work in the business community and the arts, including Life Membership in the Arts Council of Rockland County, special recognition for excellence by Hopper House in 1991 and the Business Advisory Committee of the Arts Council of Rockland, in 1989. She was the recipient of a special recognition dinner and citation by New York Artists’ Equity Association in 1991 for a decade of service, and special achievement as President of that organization and President of the Artists Welfare Fund in 1990. She has served on the Board of Directors of Executive Women International, and is currently an honorary Board of Directors Adviser to the Arts Council of Rockland and the New York Artists Equity Association. She is a member of the Appraisers Association of America and the American Association of Museums. Education credits include a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, extensive graduate studies at Middlebury College, ATS Seminary, and independent studies in art.
